Lear Corporation in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, is seeking a procurement and materials planning professional to manage timely sourcing of productive and indirect materials, maintain inventory levels, and ensure operations run within defined standards.

Responsibilities include leading cross‑functional teams in planning, purchasing, warehousing, and logistics; overseeing cross‑border MX–US activities, Incoterms, customs docs, and MOS systems; driving inventory turns and cycle counts while ensuring

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; advanced English is required.
  • Automotive industry experience preferred; bilingual Spanish/English helpful for supplier/customer interactions.
  • Knowledge of international logistics, Incoterms and customs documentation expected.

  • Drive targets for inventory turns, DOH, cycle count accuracy and obsolescence; ensure MOS system usage.

Job Description

Responsible for the timely procurement of productive and indirect materials required for operations, maintaining inventory levels of materials and finished goods within established standards

Responsibilities
  • Hands‑on expertise with MRP/ERP preferred QAD (e.g., SAP/Oracle/Plex), EDI, kanban, and PFEP.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949, MMOG/LE, APQP/PPAP, and basic customs/Incoterms concepts.
  • Lead and develop teams across planning, purchasing (if in scope), warehousing, and logistics, production schedule attainment.
  • Oversee cross-border logistics (MX–US), Incoterms, customs documentation, IMMEX/maquiladora compliance (with Trade/Customs).
  • Achieve targets for inventory turns, DOH, cycle count accuracy, and obsolescence.
  • Proficient in Materials Management Operating System (MOS)
  • Expertise in Tier 1 OEM service parts fulfillment and regulatory compliance.

Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) for supplier/customer interactions and cross‑border coordination.
