General Motors is seeking a Manufacturing Controls Engineer to execute and develop centralized controls in an on-site manufacturing environment. The role involves design, integration, and launch of controls/robotics, with emphasis on maintaining productivity and meeting program milestones.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, Electromechanical, or Mechatronics engineering, strong hydraulics/pneumatics knowledge, and at least four years of maintenance
Formación
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, Electromechanical, or Mechatronics engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and interpretation of mechanical/electrical/control drawings; PLCs; FANUC robots; vision systems; and maintenance practices.
- More than 4 years of maintenance experience.
- Advanced English language proficiency.
Responsabilidades
- Execute new programs for controls/robotics including design and run-off.
- Design, integrate, install, launch and improve control systems.
- Lead maintenance planning and ensure sustained productivity in the shop.
- Provide technical direction to junior controls engineers.
