ABB in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon, Mexico is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to guide the factory maintenance team in reliability improvements and cost optimization. You will coordinate breakdown responses and develop life cycle procedures for equipment and facilities.

The role focuses on defining maintenance plans for new lines, collaborating with Engineering, and driving improvements to reduce both ordinary and extraordinary maintenance while ensuring safety and operational efficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
• 4+ years of experience in maintenance roles or as a team leader.
• Willingness to work Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays (12-hour shifts).
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Ability to interpret electrical and hydraulic diagrams.
• Knowledge of PLCs and process control systems.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving and time management.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the factory Maintenance team in planning and implementing reliability improvements.
• Coordinate response to equipment breakdowns and optimize maintenance of lines and facilities.
• Develop life cycle management procedures to improve reliability and cost.
• Define maintenance plans for new production lines and propose improvements to reduce maintenance.
