Victaulic in Mexico is seeking a Maintenance Planner to ensure spare parts inventory is kept at optimal levels to support maintenance operations and ensure service continuity across facilities.

In this role you will coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers to secure correct materials via Purchase Orders, audit stock levels, and track deliveries while maintaining accurate requisitions and strong supplier relationships.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Maintenance Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Experience in spare parts administration and inventory control.
• Experience in auditing inventory levels.
• Experience with supplier management and negotiations.
• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Job Description

Maintenance Planner

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for ensuring that spare parts inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels in the warehouse to support maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adequate spare parts inventory is available to support maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers by providing accurate machine and/or application information to ensure the correct materials are purchased through Purchase Orders.
• Audit spare parts inventory levels, including minimum and maximum stock requirements.
• Follow up on supplier Purchase Orders and material deliveries, supporting the Purchasing team as needed.

Requirements

• Industrial Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Knowledge of spare parts administration and inventory control.
• Knowledge of inventory auditing processes.
• Experience preparing and tracking purchase requisitions.
• Knowledge of supplier management and development.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and service providers.
• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
