Superior Industries International, Inc. is seeking a Machining Process Engineer and CNC Programmer to define and optimize CNC machining, Flow Form, and laser marking processes.

The role requires hands-on CNC programming, advanced problem solving, and collaboration with cross-functional teams at our Chihuahua facility. Responsible for process development, tool selection, and adherence to quality standards, including PFMEA practices.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of experience as a process engineer in the metal-mechanical industry.
• CNC programming and use of cutting tools.
• Experience with helium leak testing machinery (desirable).
• Gage design and development; experience with 3D modeling.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, Core Tools and geometric tolerances.
• Advanced English language proficiency.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Responsible for the definition, development, elaboration and optimization of CNC machining, Flow Form and laser marking processes and programs.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Mechanic, electromechanical, Industrial Engineer or related field.

EXPERIENCE

• 3 years of experience as a process engineer in the metal-mechanical industry.
• CNC programming.
• Experience in the use of cutting tools.
• Experience in helium leak testing process and machinery (desirable).

Gage design and development.

Experience with 3D modeling.

KNOWLEDGE

Analysis techniques for problem solving.

Failure Mode and Effect Analysis in the PFMEA Process.

Core Tools.

Drawing Interpretation and Geometric Tolerances.

• MasterCam, NX (Design and programming software).
