HCLTech in Mexico is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to provide technical assistance for macOS and Windows environments, resolve hardware/software issues, and help users maintain devices and software. You will deploy and manage devices using MDM tools like JAMF, respond to tickets, and collaborate with IT colleagues to keep systems secure and up to date.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Desktop Support Specialist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical assistance for macOS hardware/software and assist users.
• Install/configure/upgrade macOS, apps, and drivers; deploy devices with MDM (e.g., JAMF).
• Support hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Assist with setup and deployment of new equipment and software.
• Respond to support requests via phone, email or in person.
• Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Train users on new systems and software.
• Collaborate with IT peers to resolve complex issues.
• Maintain inventory of hardware and software.
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and systems.
• Create and maintain user guides and knowledge base articles.
