Formación

Description
Amazon is looking for high-potential leaders, who are ready to own their impact in Fulfillment by Amazon program for 3P sellers. The FBA Ops team owns the seller facing workflow components and back-end services that productize supply chain capabilities and capture their inputs in user-friendly and intuitive ways regarding shipment delivery to Amazon MX FCs, pre-received catalog/shipment errors where FBA OPS team create and handle escalation tickets for proper inventory management.
As FBA On Site Coordinatior, you will identify blockers from a) shipping inventory into Amazon's fulfillment network, b) stranded inventory inquires associated to IDQ and Compliance, c) removals escalation cases, d) analyze all the return metrics, troubleshoot all the deviations on the value chain such as DNR, Switcheroos, wrong item sent (WIS), damaged during transit (DDT) and wrong fault owner assignee and e)Missing from inbound reimbursement cases to determine top offenders, gaps in inbound operations to locate missing inventory.
Key job responsibilities

• Partner with the program team to create key performance indicators and new methodologies for measurement and tracking FBA seller's defects.
• Understand drivers, impacts on key influences on business dynamics and productivity.
• Translate data into actionable insights for the stakeholders.
• Automate reporting for weekly business metrics; identify areas of opportunity to automate and scale ad-hoc analyses.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of operations management experience
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Preferred Qualifications

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The primary function of the Customs Coordinator is to manage and coordinate import and export operations, ensuring timely deliveries, efficient customs clearance, and compliance with applicable customs regulations. The role maintains and updates trade compliance documentation to reflect current regulatory requirements and procedures, ensuring smooth and compliant international trade operations. Additionally, the Customs Coordinator manages relationships with customs brokers and logistics suppliers, ensuring they meet business needs while fostering strong partnerships. The position also supports the maintenance of OEA and C-TPAT certifications to strengthen supply chain security and compliance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• A. Coordinates import and export operations across all customs under the IMMEX program, including compliance and oversight of both temporary and definitive customs regimes.
• B. Documentation and Record Keeping: Ensure that all required documentation is accurate, complete, and properly maintained to support regulatory compliance requirements.
• C. Compliance audits: Conducting audits and evaluations of internal and external business partners to ensure compliance with global trade regulations.
• D. Cost reduction initiatives: Develop and implement cost-reduction initiatives while ensuring continued compliance with applicable regulations and business requirements.
• E. Freight management: Oversee freight transportation activities to ensure cost-effective, timely and compliant delivery of goods. Manage international transportation operations, including freight cost control, shipment planning, performance monitoring, and on-time delivery.
• F. Corporate RFQ´s: Provide support to Global Logistics Operations by supplying information for RFQ´s (Requests for Quotation) related to the sourcing and tendering processes of international freight forwarders and carriers.
• G. Management of accounts and invoices for customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and U.S.-based warehouses, as well as tracking and monitoring logistics expenses by import pedimento and commercial invoice for imported goods.
• H. Customs Valuation Paper: Perform and maintain the reconciliation of the commercial value of imported goods and dutiable additions declared in import pedimentos against commercial invoices, freight invoices.
• I. Regulatory Audits: Preparing for and participating in audits conducted by Mexican customs authorities to verify compliance with customs valuation and/or IMMEX program.
• J. Training and Reporting: Participate in compliance training programs and prepare, maintain, and submit reports required to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• K. Coordinates and supervises the work of the Import and Export Analyst team, ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
• L. Submits monthly supplier statements and accrual reports to Finance.
• M. Updates site-level GTM SOPs and corporate procedures for all customs, including customs valuation procedures.
• N. Coordinate and provide support for site projects in collaboration with the Center of Excellence (COE).
• O. Ensures compliance with the requirements necessary to maintain OEA and C-TPAT supply chain security programs.
• + ability to drive cost reduction initiatives and transportation optimization projects.

Qualifications:

• + Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Engineer, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
• + Proven experience leading and developing teams in Import & Export operations.
• + Bilingual (English/Spanish)

• + Strong knowledge of Freight Management and international logistics operations.
• + Knowledge of the IMMEX Program and Mexican Customs regulations.Experience with Annex 24 management, customs regimes, and import/export documentation (pedimentos).
• + Experience maintaining Foreign Trade Record Keeping files and supporting compliance requirements.
• + Knowledge of trade compliance monitoring and regulatory controls
• + Experience supporting and coordinating audits, including SAT, OEA, CTPAT, and external consulting firm audits.
• + Strong understanding of customs valuation and international trade regulations.
• + Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government authorities.
• + Knowledge of international transportation operations, including air and ground freight
• + Experience managing relationships with carriers and logistics providers such as DHL, UPS, and freight intermediaries.Experience participating in transportation bids (RFQs/RFPs) and rate negotiations.
