Air Distribution Technologies, Inc. in Ciudad Juárez, MX seeks an experienced Trade Compliance professional to oversee import/export operations, ensure regulatory adherence, and drive process improvements across sites.

You will collaborate with finance and operations, implement KPIs, and guide ERP integration with the Annex 24 system to ensure accurate data flow and cost control. English proficiency and visa readiness for travel to the U.S. are preferred.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in foreign trade or related field.
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations and compliance standards.

  • Experience with ERP systems and data integration.

Responsabilidades

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure trade compliance.
  • Implement KPIs to measure operational and compliance efficiency.
  • Supervise preparation of IMMEX monthly reports and Annex 24/30 compliance.
  • Monitor regulatory changes in global customs legislation and provide updates.
  • Integrate ERP with Annex 24 inventory control for smooth data flow.
  • Support Director of Trade Compliance in optimizing customs processes to reduce costs and risk.
  • Ensure legal compliance with trade laws and licensing for goods at all locations.
  • Monitor performance of brokers and partners to maintain efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement trade compliance programs for import/export across all sites.
  • Participate in administration of OEA & CTPAT supply chain security programs.
  • Conduct audits to verify import/export declarations and identify discrepancies.
  • Develop SOPs and work instructions for standardized processes.
  • Implement risk mitigation plans at all sites.
  • Assist customs audits by Mexican and U.S. authorities.

Main Functions And Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and operations, to ensure compliance with trade
  • Implement KPIs to measure operational and compliance efficiency.
  • Supervise the preparation of IMMEX monthly reports and ensure compliance with Annex 24 and Annex 30.
  • Monitors and manages regulatory changes in global customs legislation, providing updates and guidance to internal teams.
  • Participate in the integration of the company's ERP system with the Annex 24 inventory control system to ensure a smooth and accurate flow of data.
  • Provide support to the Director of Trade Compliance in the execution of strategies to optimize customs and compliance processes in order to reduce costs and operational risks.
  • Ensure legal compliance with trade laws and regulations, including proper licensing for the entry and exit of merchandise from all business locations.
  • Monitor the performance of customs brokers and other business partners related to trade compliance to maintain strong relationships that ensure efficient customs operations.
  • Development and implementation of trade compliance programs and procedures for import and export regulatory compliance for all sites.
  • Participates in the administration of the OEA & CTPAT organization's supply chain security programs for all sites.
  • Conduct audits to verify compliance with import and export transactions, ensuring accurate declarations and identifying discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement SOPs, SOWs, and instructions for standardizing processes across all sites.
  • Implements and monitors risk mitigation plans at all sites.
  • Assists and supports customs audits by Mexican and U.S. federal authorities.
Education, Knowledge, And Skills Required
  • Bachelor's degree in foreign trade or related field.
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations and compliance standards.
  • Analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and organizational systems.
  • Ability to learn to use ERP software/information systems.
