Job summary

Silversea is seeking a professional for a Front Office leadership role aboard one of its luxury ships. The candidate should bring 2–3 years of shipboard experience, exceptional English fluency, and comfort with additional languages.

Proficiency in Fidelio and MS applications is required, with a proactive approach and strong cross-cultural leadership abilities. The role focuses on supervising front office operations, delivering personalized guest services, and training reception staff to uphold

Qualifications

• 2–3 years shipboard experience in a similar position on an International 5 star luxury establishment.
• Excellent fluent English (verbal and written).
• Conversational in an additional language (German, French, Spanish, Mandarin).
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications and Fidelio.
• Proactive approach to problem solving.
• Sensitivity to cultural differences and ability to work across cultures.
• Strong interpersonal skills with leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Provides guests with the highest quality guest services, demonstrating genuine concern for guests wellbeing.
• Ensures all guest requests, enquiries and complaints are responded to immediately and followed up efficiently.
• Maintains communication with the Hotel Director and other departments around the ship.
• Coordinates, organizes and supervises the front office operation.
• Displays full knowledge of ship facilities, ports of call and services.
• Organizes and leads training sessions for reception team members to develop knowledge and service.
