Job summary

Silversea in Cancún seeks a proactive Guest Services Ambassador at the front desk to deliver exceptional hospitality. You will supervise the daily reception operations, greet guests, and coordinate with other departments to meet guest expectations while maintaining a warm, elegant atmosphere.

The role requires fluent English, basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to work across several languages; proficiency with Fidelio and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferably 2 years experience in a similar position at an International 5 star and luxury establishment.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Excellent fluent English (verbal and written) with additional language skills in German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese or Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest services at the reception desk.
• Supervise the day to day operation of the reception desk.
• Assist with and coordinate guests needs and requirements ensuring that all are met and the needs of the guest are observed in the delivery of the highest possible service.
• Respond to guest requests, inquiries and complaints immediately and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction with sincerity and hospitality in all interactions.
• Maintain a high level of communication with the Guest Relations Manager and other departments.
• Ensure smooth flow of information between shore concierge, finance and reception teams.
• Perform embarkation and debarkation duties as required.
• Assist with regular inventories of guest relations department equipment.
• Prepare the reception team working schedule for approval by the Guest Relations Manager.

• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Excellent fluent English (verbal and written). Conversational in preferably two additional languages (German, French, Italia_n, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin).
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office package and Fidelio.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible to provide exceptional guest services at the reception desk.
