The Standard Hotel in Mexico City seeks a seasoned Guest Relations Manager (Security Manager) to oversee safety, security operations, and risk management across the property.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a leadership role within a luxury hotel or high-end property.
• Experience in hotel security risk management and life safety oversight.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; ability to interact with an international clientele.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Security department, ensuring a safe environment across the property.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
• Mentor and develop the Security team with ongoing training and professional growth.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and security audits to mitigate risks.
• Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and coordinate follow-up actions with authorities as needed.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and department leaders to ensure compliance with standards and life safety requirements.
• Oversee CCTV systems, access control, and other security technologies.
• Lead emergency response efforts including fire safety procedures and crisis management.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness through training and communication.
