The Standard, Mexico City invites applications for a Senior Engineering Supervisor to keep the hotel’s spaces running seamlessly. You’ll lead the Engineering team, ensure mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and life-safety systems perform reliably, and partner with other operations to deliver a guest experience that aligns with the brand.

• Develop talent and provide ongoing training for the Engineering team.
• Ensure MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, life safety) run reliably.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and inspire the Engineering team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Develop talent and train the Engineering team.
• Support the Engineering Supervisors with technical and administrative work.
• Get proposals from vendors of spare parts and services and obtain the purchase order.
• Ensure the hotel's mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life safety systems operate efficiently and reliably.
• Respond quickly to guest and colleagues' requests and unexpected challenges, always finding practical solutions.
• Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs that keep our hotel performing at its best.
• Partner closely with Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage, and every operational team to deliver a seamless guest experience.
• Monitor contractors, vendors, and ongoing projects, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with brand standards.
• Champion sustainability initiatives and identify opportunities to improve efficiency without compromising the guest experience.
• Lead by example, creating an environment where technical excellence meets genuine hospitality.
