Job summary

One&Only Palmilla in Los Cabos, Mexico, seeks an Order Taker to receive and manage food and beverage orders from hotel guests by phone in a warm, professional manner, delivering Forbes Travel Guide level service with upselling and personalized attention.

You will post Private Bar minibar charges, coordinate in-room amenities, and respond promptly to guest requests while upholding confidentiality and accuracy in all guest folios.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury hospitality, preferably in room service, private dining, or telephone-based guest service.
• Strong knowledge of professional telephone etiquette and service phraseology.
• Proven upselling and suggestive selling abilities.
• Experience with Micros POS systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• High level of organization, responsibility, and discretion.
• Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Advanced English proficiency; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process food and beverage orders accurately by telephone.
• Utilize upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and revenue.
• Post minibar and Private Dining charges to guest folios in Micros.
• Maintain professionalism and Forbes Travel Guide standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests.
• Ensure all charges are posted correctly to guest folios.
• Keep order-taking area clean and organized.
• Provide operational support to Private Dining when needed.
