Uber Freight is seeking an Associate Manager to lead a team focused on planning, on-time delivery, and cost control for freight transportation. The role collaborates with US and/or Canadian stakeholders to meet and exceed service expectations.

You will drive efficiency using data analysis and root-cause tools, while developing team capabilities and maintaining customer satisfaction. This position emphasizes cross-cultural collaboration and leadership across a growing logistics network.

Formación

• Supervise day-to-day activities of team members.
• Schedule staff and distribute workload with US/Canada stakeholders.
• Cover for teammates and allocate up to 30% of time to production tasks.
• Ensure daily goals are met and monitor performance.
• Develop and maintain efficient processes and workflows.
• Generate and share performance reports for customers and internal use.
• Build strong cross-organizational relationships.
• Provide training, mentoring and coaching to team members.

About the Role

The Associate Manager is responsible for managing a team while designing, executing, and reporting on standard work processes to ensure freight transportation service expectations are met and exceeded. The team is responsible for functions like planning and on-time delivery of customer freight while controlling costs and providing excellent customer communication. The idealcandidate can use statistical data to drive efficiency as wellas useroot cause analysis tools to improve business processes and exceed customer expectations.Thisassociate manager will work closely with stakeholders in the US and/or Canada. Cross-cultural collaboration isa mustformanagerand team members.

What the Candidate Will Do

• Supervise day-to-day activities of team members
• Schedule staff and distribute workload– work closely with US and/or Canadian stakeholdersto meet businessrequirements
• Associate managers may need to cover work for their team members and may have 30% of time dedicated to production responsibilities
• Ensure team members meet daily goals andmonitorindividual and team performance
• Develop,implementandmaintaineffective processes
• Proactively generate and share ideas that lead to process efficiency and customer experience improvement
• Develop and distribute customer and internal performance management reports
• Develop strong relationships acrossorganization
• Develop team members byprovidingtraining opportunities, projects,mentoringand coaching
• Create andmaintainstrong teamculture in line with Uber Freight values and behaviors

Basic Qualifications

• Comply with the internal mobility Policy
• Advanced English, verbal and written
• 3 years of LOGISTICS (transportation management, brokerage, warehouse, supply chain, etc.) experience WITH increasing level of responsibility.
