Job summary

Autoliv Safety Technology de México, S.A. de C.V. in Baja California invites an experienced Production Leader to oversee daily operations, plan, organize and control activities, and ensure conformity with Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Morale targets.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, train Production Leaders, drive Lean improvements, and uphold Health & Safety and Quality standards while guiding teams toward stable, sustainable performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant area is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment including a Gemba leadership role.
• Experience in setting and meeting production targets.
• Experience in using Lean manufacturing tools.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily operations run in accordance with Autoliv standards and SQDCM targets.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities within the assigned production area.
• Build and maintain awareness among Production Leaders regarding the impact of their areas/lines on overall production results.
• Ensure production is carried out in compliance with Autoliv standards.
• Oversee the production area with full responsibility for planning, organizing, and controlling activities.
• Ensure adherence to Health & Safety and Quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement to achieve stable and sustainable performance.
• Train and develop Production Leaders in both technical and soft skills, ensuring continuous improvement in their ways of working.
• Act as a leadership ambassador in alignment with Autoliv Key Behaviors, leading by example.
• Proactively elevate issues and support the implementation of corrective actions.
