Autoliv in Mexico is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team on assembly lines and the leather wrap process, driving reliability, TPM compliance, and continuous improvement. You will minimize downtime, optimize resources, and help achieve SQDCM objectives in a fast-paced automotive environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, or industrial engineering and experience in TPM, RCA, lean manufacturing, and equipment reliability,

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience leading maintenance teams in manufacturing or automotive environments.
• Knowledge of TPM, Root Cause Analysis, Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and support the maintenance team to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable equipment operation.
• Drive downtime reduction via root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure 100% compliance with preventive maintenance and TPM initiatives.
• Manage immediate response for equipment breakdowns and extraordinary maintenance.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs (MTTR, MTBF) and evaluate technician performance.
• Coordinate workforce and maintenance resources to support production and objectives.
• Promote technician development through training and coaching.
• Support environmental, quality, and safety initiatives in line with policies.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the maintenance team, ensuring the efficient operation of Assembly lines & Leather wrap process while driving reliability, preventive maintenance compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will play a key role in minimizing downtime, optimizing maintenance resources, and supporting manufacturing operations in achieving SQDCM objectives.

• Lead, coach, and support the maintenance team to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable equipment operation.
• Drive downtime reduction initiatives through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure 100% compliance with preventive maintenance schedules and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives.
• Manage immediate response and recovery actions for equipment breakdowns and extraordinary maintenance situations.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs (MTTR, MTBF) and evaluate technician performance to drive accountability and operational excellence.
• Coordinate workforce and maintenance resources to support production requirements and business objectives and focus on client's relation.
• Promote technician development through training plans, coaching, and technical skill enhancement.
• Support environmental, quality, and safety initiatives while ensuring compliance with company policies and management systems.

If You Have/are

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience leading maintenance teams in manufacturing or automotive environments. Experience in PLC. Robots and Vision System.
• Knowledge of TPM, Root Cause Analysis, Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and equipment reliability practices.
• Experience managing maintenance KPIs, downtime reduction initiatives, and maintenance budgets.
• English communication skills are highly desirable.
