Job summary

Jabil in Monterrey, Mexico, is seeking an Inventory/Materials Coordinator to manage stock levels for new product qualifications, pre-pilot, and pilot assemblies related to SMT and DF activities. You will monitor material flow on the shop floor, in the stockroom, and in transit.

You will work with engineering, planning, procurement, and production teams to meet customer priorities, ensure timely delivery, analyze production data, and implement methods to reduce nonconformities while upholding

Responsibilities

Establish production and quality control standards and determine delivery dates for products ordered.
Monitor materials on the production floor, stockroom and in transit.
Communicate regularly with the customer regarding all aspects of builds.
Coordinate with ORT, test, planning and production teams to meet customer priorities and production needs.
Coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control to optimize resources.
Review and analyze production, quality, maintenance, and operations reports to identify nonconformities and problems.
Develop and implement methods to eliminate issues and improve product quality.
Consult with engineering to modify machines/equipment to improve production.
Monitor yield information and advise customer on actions for products under evaluation.
Adhere to safety and health rules and company security procedures.
Other duties may be assigned.
