Uber Freight in Monterrey is seeking a Contracts Manager/Legal Project Manager to support the Legal team in intake and processing of documents, review of NDAs and vendor agreements, and execution of cross-functional projects across the business.

You will coordinate all aspects of contract administration, ensure approvals and signatures are tracked, and help create standards for legal review. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Formación

• 3+ years post-qualification experience as Contract Manager, Legal Project Manager, Paralegal, or Contracts Administrator.
• Ability to work with Uber Freight stakeholders across Mexico and the US.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

About the Role

The Contracts Manager/Legal Project Manager will work closely with the Uber Freight Legal team and stakeholders across the Uber Freight business to intake and process documents, review NDAs and vendor agreements, and work on a variety of projects across Uber Freight that help the Legal team and the business keep moving forward.

What the Candidate Will Do

• Review and process NDAs, vendor agreements, and other contracts.
• Help to coordinate all aspects of contract administration, including basic review, drafting and negotiation, managing approval and signature processes, distribution and archiving, and escalating critical issues.
• Track litigation files with varying levels of complexity and timelines to ensure both the Legal team and outside counsel are meeting applicable deadlines.
• Establish legal tools, playbooks and policies. Help create and update standards and practices for legal review and approvals.
• Manage and lead special projects.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years post-qualification/post-graduation experience as a Contract Manager, Legal Project Manager, Paralegal, or Contracts Administrator in a law firm and/or in-house environment.
• Ability to work with Uber Freight stakeholders across Mexico and the US.
• Fluent in English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with organizations to negotiate, draft and finalize sales and other commercial agreements preferred.
• Be a contracts pro. You have the experience and confidence to review or help coordinate on a broad variety of agreements, including NDAs, services agreements, and website terms and conditions. You spot issues, are not afraid to ask questions and possess the judgement to escalation issues to others on the legal team when necessary.
• Technical Savvy. Can create/use Word documents, Excel templates and other project management tools and e-signing tools. Familiarity with contract management systems like DocuSign CLM a plus.
• Be a good communicator. You know how to communicate clearly whether writing or speaking.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated. You have superior organizational skills, high integrity, and you follow-through on tasks.
