Job summary

Flex is seeking a Warehouse Manager for its Guadalajara North Campus to lead receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations. You will supervise staff, manage inventory controls, and ensure compliance with material handling and shipping requirements in a metal-mechanical manufacturing setting.

The role focuses on implementing efficient layouts, coordinating cycle counts, and driving productivity while maintaining security and quality standards across the warehouse.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in materials management or MRP systems.
• Fluent English (Written & Spoken).
• Experience in metal-mechanical manufacturing.
• Practical knowledge of BAAN or similar systems for inventory and materials management.
• Ability to oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, assorting, and organizing materials.
• Proficiency in cyclical counting and understanding the impact of poor inventory management.
• Familiarity with 5S methodologies, promoting continuous improvement and maintaining order and cleanliness in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by coordinating policies and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements.
• Establishes security procedures and monitors warehouse operations.
• Controls inventory levels through regular physical counts and reconciliation with data storage system.
• Plans and implements new design layouts and inspects equipment.
• Reviews loading/unloading schedules to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinates floor cycle counts, physical inventory, and record reconciliation.
• Sets productivity targets and enforces controls to meet objectives.
