Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a Lean Transformation lead at the Durango site to own the Lean Journey for one engineered-to-order value stream. You will report to the Business System Director and partner with the Focus Factory Manager to implement JCBS across the plant.

Responsibilities include coaching front-line leaders, conducting time studies, driving Kaizen events, and building a sustainable Daily Management system. A strong Lean background and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing operations with 2+ years in continuous improvement/lean.
• Green Belt Six Sigma or Lean certification in Value Stream Mapping and Standard Work.
• Strong knowledge of Lean tools and problem solving (A3, 5 Whys).
• Proficient with MS Office; Visio/AutoCAD for layouts.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean transformation for one value stream and drive future-state plan.
• Perform time studies and balance operations to remove waste.
• Coach staff and leaders in JCBS principles and problem solving.
• Facilitate kaizen events and sustain Daily Management at the value stream.
• Collaborate with Process Owners to remove systemic barriers.
