Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Vehicle Control Systems Integration Specialist to join our engineering team in Acapulco, Guerrero, MX. Lead integration strategies for powertrain, chassis, and body control modules and validate system performance.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across software, hardware, and vehicle dynamics teams to ensure safety and standards compliance in a coastal automotive hub.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in automotive systems engineering focusing on control systems integration.
• Proficiency with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Experience with diagnostic tools and automotive simulation environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the integration of automotive control systems (engine, ABS, ESP, infotainment).
• Define system integration requirements and interfaces.
• Develop and execute system integration test plans.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to system interactions and communication protocols.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and vehicle dynamics engineers.
• Perform system-level testing and validation to ensure performance and reliability.
• Analyze diagnostic data and system logs to identify root causes.
• Contribute to system architecture and design documentation.
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards and safety regulations.
• Mentor junior engineers on system integration best practices.
