Job summary
Flex seeks an Operations Engineering Manager to lead planning, development, and maintenance of manufacturing processes within the engineering function at Guadalajara, South. You will direct engineers, set budgets, and drive cost-effective product delivery while interfacing with executives and customers.
The role requires strong senior management experience, English proficiency, and a deep background in SMT and backend production environments.
Qualifications
- BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience.
- Senior management experience leading teams at manager level.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong background in manufacturing processes for test equipment and production environments.
Responsibilities
- Direct the activities of engineers and staff; plan, budget, and maintain costs for a broad functional area.
- Review customer contracts and engineering designs by outlining requirements and considerations.
- Interact regularly with executives, customers and outside regulatory agencies.
- Drive engineering strategies to deliver customer requirements and recommend Flex capabilities in manufacturing and engineering services.
