Caylent is an AI-first cloud services company seeking a talented Security Engineer to join our growing Security team. The ideal candidate has AWS experience, networking familiarity, and a willingness to apply AI-driven approaches to secure cloud environments.

You will: review security assessments, monitor implementations, and advise on architectural security while leveraging AWS tools such as Inspector, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, GuardDuty, and Security Hub.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree or 2-4 years experience in IT / security roles.
• 3+ years of experience in AWS or other public cloud environments.
• Security+ and/or other security certifications.
• Experience with IaC languages such as YAML, Terraform, and/or CDK.
• Experience with scripting languages (bash, PowerShell, etc).
• Experience with Python or other modern programming languages.

Responsabilidades

• Review or conduct regular security and vulnerability assessments on cloud-based workloads.
• Monitor/audit implementations and ensure proper functioning.
• Advise on security requirements and approve security architecture.
• Develop and tune automated tests and rules for AWS security tooling.
• Build and integrate new security tooling including cloud-native services.
• Coordinate with teams on security risk and mitigations.
• Assist in threat modeling and interpreting security policies.
• Design vulnerability scans for cloud and mobile apps and infrastructure.
