Job summary

Copeland seeks an experienced Manager Advanced Manufacturing to lead a team of manufacturing and project engineers, driving manufacturability and readiness for new products. You will partner with Product Engineering and Operations to deliver robust assembly processes and scalable manufacturing capabilities, while managing capital budgets and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor requirement: Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Master’s preferred in engineering or PM.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.
• 5+ years in high-volume discrete manufacturing.
• Project management and capital equipment procurement experience.
• NPD, PFMEA, and design for manufacturability experience.
• 2D/3D design experience (Siemens NX, AutoCAD).
• Willing to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and evaluate a team of manufacturing and project engineers.
• Set team objectives aligned with company goals.
• Partner with Product Engineering and Operations to develop manufacturable product designs.
• Ensure manufacturing readiness for new product introductions and transitions.
• Support footprint optimization, capacity expansion, and growth initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional project scopes, schedules, resources, risk plans, and capital budgets.
• Lead equipment design, procurement, installation, and qualification.
• Ensure projects are safe, on schedule, within budget, and meeting targets.
• Apply Lean and Continuous Improvement to reduce waste and improve processes.
• Develop strong relationships with plant leadership and stakeholders.
