Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Manager, Microsoft 365 Platform Operations in Mexico City to lead the operational management, governance, reliability, and continuous improvement of our Microsoft 365 collaboration and productivity platforms. You will oversee Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID, and Purview while driving incident response and service improvement.

You will manage tenant-wide changes, partner with security, compliance, and infrastructure teams, and mentor a team of MS

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT or related field.
8+ years of experience supporting enterprise collaboration and productivity platforms.
3+ years leading technical operations or platform engineering teams.
Advanced expertise in Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Entra ID, and Purview.
Strong knowledge of identity, security, compliance, and governance controls.
Experience leading major incident management and service restoration.
ITIL Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Level Management knowledge.
Experience managing enterprise vendors and service providers.
Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

Lead operational support and service delivery for Microsoft 365 platforms.
Ensure platform availability, performance, reliability, and governance.
Manage maintenance, upgrades, and service transitions.
Lead major incident response and root cause analysis.
Establish operational standards and reduce recurring incidents.
Oversee mail flow, Teams administration, information protection, and collaboration controls.
Coordinate tenant-wide changes with minimal disruption.
Collaborate on retention, access management, and audit controls with security and compliance teams.
Identify automation and AI-enabled operation opportunities.
Drive continuous improvement using performance data and metrics.
Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, and KPIs.
Lead and mentor Microsoft 365 engineers and platform specialists.
