Job summary

Walbridge de Mexico is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to lead mechanical construction activities on complex industrial projects. You will manage field operations, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and drive safe, on-time project delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, advanced English, and the ability to travel to project sites, including large-scale facilities such as data centers and automotive plants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience supervising mechanical construction activities on industrial, manufacturing, or mission-critical projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, plumbing, and mechanical equipment installation.
• Experience managing subcontractors, labor productivity, and field coordination.
• Understanding of construction schedules, planning, quality control, and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all mechanical construction activities on site.
• Supervise mechanical contractors, field crews, and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient execution.
• Oversee installation of HVAC, piping, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Quality, and Safety teams to support project goals.
• Monitor work progress, identify field issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule commitments.
• Ensure all mechanical installations comply with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes.
• Support commissioning, testing, and turnover activities for mechanical systems.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all field operations.
