Job summary

Walbridge de Mexico is seeking a Project Engineer to support large-scale construction projects including data centers, vehicle manufacturing, and general building construction. You will plan, coordinate, and manage on-site engineering activities and provide technical support throughout project execution.

Responsibilities include coordinating with teams and clients, processing shop drawings and RFIs, and contributing to project controls and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of construction engineering or project engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, and methods.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Solid knowledge of project controls reporting, procurement coordination, and contract administration.
• Ability to support budget tracking, financial forecasting, and resource allocation.

Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Ensure on-site engineering activities comply with requirements and support the construction schedule.
• Coordination & Administration: Develop, implement, and administer project engineering procedures and documentation.
• Team & Stakeholder Support: Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, clients, architects, engineers, and management to resolve issues and align with objectives.
• Technical Support: Serve as a key technical resource for construction engineering processes and project controls.
