Job summary

Clara is a fast-growing Latin America fintech. We’re seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to own authentication and identity flows across Clara's platform, including Auth0 integration and secure user lifecycle management.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, drive architectural decisions, and maintain the quality bar through design and code reviews. A genuine interest in AI tooling will help accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in production systems.
• 2+ years implementing authentication/authorization with Auth0 or similar.
• Strong backend in Java/Spring with solid React frontend experience.
• Security-minded approach to distributed architectures.
• Product mindset with ownership and proactive problem-solving.
• Interest in AI tools to improve development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own auth end-to-end: architecture, implementation, Auth0 integration.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team: sprint planning, standups, retros.
• Mentor and elevate the team through pairing and knowledge sharing.
• Set and enforce quality through code/design reviews.
• Review specs from a technical lens and identify AI tooling gaps.
