Clara is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to own backend and frontend development in the Collections squad. You will build features end-to-end—from data models and APIs to user interfaces for customers and internal teams.

This high-ownership role requires proactive problem-solving and shipping high-impact features. You’ll design backend services in Java + Spring Boot, build frontend in React + TypeScript, and manage data with PostgreSQL/Redis.

Formación

• 3–5 years of backend development experience in Java, including Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript— you've shipped real UI
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and distributed systems fundamentals
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• AI-augmented development is how you work— use AI tools daily to write, review, and debug code
• Working proficiency in English and Spanish

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement backend services in Java + Spring Boot for payments, collections, and reconciliation
• Build and maintain frontend interfaces in React + TypeScript across both layers
• Model data and manage PostgreSQL and Redis for transactional and caching needs
• Work with event-driven architectures (Kafka or similar) in a distributed microservices environment
• Build and secure RESTful APIs for internal and external consumption
• Use AI coding tools as a default part of your workflow
• Collaborate with Pod Lead and PM to translate product needs into technical decisions
