Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc in Mexico is seeking a hands-on Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to strengthen Kubernetes platform operations, CI/CD ecosystem, and IaC standards. You will scale cloud-native infra and optimize deployment pipelines for reliability.

You will manage AWS workloads, implement GitHub Actions workflows, Terraform state governance, observability with Prometheus and Grafana, and mentor teams on platform enablement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience running and optimizing Kubernetes clusters in production.
• 3+ years building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Strong expertise in Terraform for infrastructure as code, including state management and governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes clusters supporting production workloads.
• Improve cluster scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Strengthen observability through metrics, logging, and tracing with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Design, refactor, and scale GitHub Actions pipelines; build reusable workflows and standards.
• Maintain and improve Terraform-based infrastructure, including state management and modular design.
• Manage AWS services like VPC, IAM, EC2, and EKS; provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Participate in incident troubleshooting, RCAs, and reliability improvements.
