EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to join a high-performing agile team supporting a major investment management client. You will design and deliver scalable data solutions across trading platforms, reporting systems, and investment operations.

The role requires 7+ years in data engineering, strong SQL/Snowflake, AWS, Python, and CI/CD experience, with excellent communication and stakeholder management. Fluency in English is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years in Data Engineering.
• SQL, Snowflake, and Data Warehousing proficiency.
• AWS cloud services experience.
• Strong Python for data processing and ETL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• GitHub or Bitbucket familiarity.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• English at B2 level or higher.
• Nice to have Power BI or similar BI tools.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data integration and warehousing solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional squads including PO, SM, BA, and Engineers.
• Translate stories into robust data solutions using cloud tech.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for financial data.
• Build and maintain SQL objects (views, procedures, functions).
• Establish data integration workflows across platforms.
• Contribute to solution architecture and technical design.
• Uphold data quality, security, and governance standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and showcases.
• Present completed solutions and business value to stakeholders.
• Support CI/CD deployment practices and continuous improvement.
• Mentor team members and promote best practices.
