Job summary

EPAM, a global provider of digital platform engineering and development services, is seeking a Data Software Engineer to design, develop, and support systems powering liquid credit investment workflows. You will work with portfolio managers, traders, and operations staff to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions.

Requirements include 2+ years in data/backend software, strong SQL/SSRS skills, and English at B2+.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on data or backend.
• Solid SQL skills including optimization, stored procedures, and data modeling.
• Experience with SSRS reporting and SQL-based data models.
• Strong OO design, data structures, and software fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support software for liquid credit investment workflows.
• Integrate data across systems to ensure consistency and data exchange.
• Apply SQL Server 2016+ knowledge to build database-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with front office, operations, and product teams.
• Tune database performance and preserve data integrity.
• Contribute to system architecture and engineering practices.
• Diagnose and resolve production incidents promptly.
• Deliver clean, scalable, well-documented code.
