Job description

Lead CNC Programmer & Senior Manufacturing / Process Engineer

Location: Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico (Binational Role: Celaya & Texas Facilities)

Work Type: Full-Time | On-Site Technical Leadership

Travel Requirement: Regular business travel to Texas facility (Valid U.S. Visa Required)

About the Role: This is Not Just a Job. This is Your Legacy Project.

Are you a world-class CAM programmer and manufacturing engineer who knows how to review heavy aerospace specs, engineer rock-solid production routings, optimize custom workholding, and drive shop-floor modernization?

We are an established, AS9100-certified binational aerospace manufacturer operating in Texas and Mexico. We don’t need an office engineer who sits behind a desk, nor do we need a passive supervisor. We are looking for a true technical powerhouse; a master programmer and process engineer who wants to revolutionize our machine shop with state-of-the-art technology, 5-axis manufacturing, zero-point workholding, quick-change fixturing, and shop-floor automation.

If you are looking for a position where your voice actually matters, your ideas drive real change, and your work directly shapes the technical direction of a growing company, this is your opportunity.

Why Join Us?
  • Fuel Our Rapid Aerospace Expansion: Aerospace manufacturing in Mexico is exploding, and our binational footprint is expanding fast. You won't just be maintaining existing parts, you will be the key catalyst onboarding new customer work, modernizing legacy programs, and turning complex engineering packages into highly profitable, automated shop flow.
  • Real Authority: Direct line to executive leadership with the trust and backing to make critical technical decisions, select tooling, and implement modern setup methodologies.
  • Technology & Capital Investment: Access to modern 5-axis mills, advanced metrology labs, modern CAD/CAM software, and automated shop telemetry.
  • Binational Scope: Direct cross-border leadership experience, including dedicated working time at our U.S. headquarters in Texas.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications

We value real technical capability, problem-solving drive, and practical results above all else.

  • Language: 100% Fully Bilingual (English / Spanish). You must be capable of reviewing complex U.S. customer engineering specifications, writing technical travelers in English, and communicating directly with U.S. engineering teams.
  • Travel & Visa: Valid U.S. Visa (B1/B2 or TN) is required. You will spend dedicated time on-site at our Texas manufacturing facility for initial alignment, program launches, and cross-plant standardization.
  • Education & Background: Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Process Engineering (or Mexican equivalents: Ingeniería Mecánica, Industrial, Técnico Mecánico/Industrial).
  • * Real-World Alternative: No degree? No problem. If you developed elite-level capability through years of proven, high-precision aerospace programming, master planning, and fixture design, your knowledge and shop-floor results take priority over a diploma.
Key Responsibilities & Core Priorities
1. World-Class CNC Programming & Shop Modernization (OUR #1 PRIORITY)
  • High-Level CAM Execution: Develop, simulate, and prove out ultra-efficient, collision-free CAM toolpaths for complex 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machining centers.
  • Software Mastery: Deep proficiency in CATIA, Mastercam, Autodesk Fusion 360, or Siemens NX.
  • Legacy Overhaul & SMED: Audit and re-program legacy jobs written for older equipment. Design modular workholding, zero-point receiver systems, and quick-change fixturing (SMED) to drastically reduce machine setup times and pave the way for automated production.
  • High-Tech Machining Dynamics: Select optimal cutting strategies, high-feed tooling, and rigid fixture concepts to maximize material removal rates while eliminating chatter/vibration.
  • Standardization: Establish machine-specific tool libraries, post-processor standards, and digital setup sheets for the shop floor.
2. Master Planning, NPI & Manufacturing Engineering
  • New Product Introduction (NPI): Take point on integrating new customer programs. Translate incoming RFQs, 3D model files, and customer specifications into repeatable, profitable manufacturing packages.
  • Customer Requirement Review: Analyze CAD models, engineering drawings, GD&T (ASME Y14.5), material specs, and special processing requirements (heat treat, plating, anodize, NDT).
  • Airtight Routings & Travelers: Create detailed step-by-step manufacturing sequences, raw material sizing, BOMs, process instructions, and stage drawings that ensure 100% compliance with AS9100 quality standards.
3. Advanced Technology, Automation & Quality Integration
  • Automation & Shop Floor Tech: Partner with leadership to integrate modern shop-floor automation, zero-point workholding, and machine monitoring telemetry to optimize overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • CMM & Metrology Support: Assist quality teams with 3D inspection methods. If you aren't already fluent in CMM programming (PC-DMIS / PolyWorks / FaroArm), we will train and certify you on our high-precision metrology equipment.
  • Cross-Plant Alignment: Work between our Texas and Mexico operations to standardize engineering methods and ensure seamless production handoffs.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: MX$40,000–MX$65,000/month (gross), depending on experience and demonstrated technical capability.
  • Relocation Support: Open to supporting candidates willing to relocate from major Mexican aerospace corridors (Queretaro, Chihuahua, Monterrey, Sonora, Baja California).
  • Standard benefits: IMSS, paid holidays, Christmas bonus (Aguinaldo), vacation, and performance growth opportunities.
