Integon, part of The Allstate Corporation, seeks a Lead BI Developer to join our Data & Analytics team in Mexico. You will design and deliver enterprise data warehouse solutions, build ETL/ELT pipelines, and develop Power BI semantic models and Python/PySpark data processing.

Collaborate with business and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions while upholding data quality and governance standards.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or BI.
• Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, and Enterprise DW.
• Proficient in Star/Snowflake schemas and SCDs.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric components: Data Factory, Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks, Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, OneLake.
• Proficient in Python, PySpark, and Spark-based processing.
• Advanced Power BI skills: semantic models, dataset design, DAX, dashboards, performance optimization.
• Experience with data integration, ETL/ELT, data quality, and governance.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Business Intelligence Developer to join our Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale data warehouse solutions, modern cloud-based data platforms, and business intelligence environments.

This role requires expertise in data warehousing, dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT development, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and modern data engineering practices. The successful candidate must be a self-starter who can work independently while also collaborating effectively with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and fellow engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise data warehouse solutions.
• Build, optimize, and support ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data integration tools and frameworks.
• Develop and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration processes in Microsoft Fabric.
• Create and manage Fabric Data Engineering workloads including:
  • Data Pipelines
  • Dataflows Gen2
  • Notebooks
  • Lakehouses
  • Warehouses
• Design and implement robust dimensional models (Star and Snowflake Schemas) to support reporting and analytics.
• Develop complex T-SQL code including stored procedures, views, functions, and performance optimization.
• Build and maintain Power BI semantic models, reports, dashboards, and DAX measures.
• Develop data engineering solutions using Python and PySpark for large-scale data processing.
• Monitor data quality, troubleshoot issues, and implement data governance best practices.
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions.
• Support operational activities including deployment, monitoring, performance tuning, and production support.
