Job summary

AVI-SPL México is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist, LATAM, to oversee payroll operations across Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, and Costa Rica for about 300 employees. You will ensure accurate, timely payroll via Deel while complying with country tax, labor, and social security rules.

This role partners with HR, Finance, and external providers and acts as the payroll expert for LATAM. You will monitor regulatory changes, drive process improvements, perform audits, and support annual

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of payroll experience in LATAM.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Strong knowledge of LATAM payroll compliance and country requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple payroll cycles and deadlines.
• Excellent communication with HR, Finance, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll processing for LATAM countries through Deel.
• Serve as payroll SME for LATAM and liaise with HR, Finance, and external providers.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement updates in payroll processes.
• Perform payroll audits and resolve discrepancies prior to funding.
• Maintain payroll documentation and calendars across countries.
• Provide training on payroll processes and country-specific requirements.
