Hitachi Energy is seeking a senior regional government relations professional to shape public policy and regulatory strategy across LATAM. You will lead regional strategies, engage with governments and regulators, and influence decisions affecting energy infrastructure and sustainable transition.

You will collaborate with legal, communications, and business teams, growing leadership scope across multiple countries while ensuring compliance with laws and internal guidelines.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Law, Political Science, or related fields.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in government relations or public affairs.
• Proven experience working with regulators and public institutions in LATAM.
• Experience in multinational or regulated industries such as energy or infrastructure.
• Strong leadership experience across multiple countries.
• Fluent English and Spanish.

• Develop position papers, briefings, and scenario analyses for leadership.

• Ensure full compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Provide guidance during sensitive or crisis situations involving authorities
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
