BorgWarner is seeking a Labor Coordinator in San Luis Potosí to manage labor relations, disciplinary actions, and union matters while ensuring regulatory compliance and a positive work environment.

The role involves advising leaders, coordinating investigations, and representing the company before labor authorities. Strong knowledge of labor law and at least 5 years in manufacturing labor relations are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 5 years in Labor Relations within manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of Federal Labor Law and labor procedures.
• Experience handling disciplinary actions, investigations, and union matters.
• Proficient with MS Office; SAP/Workday/Revolution a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Federal Labor Law and internal regulations.
• Advise leaders on internal policies and disciplinary procedures.
• Coordinate disciplinary actions, suspensions, and terminations.
• Address employee concerns to minimize risks and maintain workplace harmony.
• Manage employment contracts and PIP processes.
• Lead internal investigations into Code of Conduct violations.
• Represent the company in conciliation proceedings with authorities.
• Monitor labor relations and ensure compliance with collective agreements.
• Prepare reports for HR and management.
• Participate in audits and HR projects.
