Visa Hunt is seeking an experienced L3 Production Support Engineer to join a remote team serving clients in Mexico. The role focuses on resolving complex production issues, performing RCA, and delivering code fixes for Java-based applications and enterprise platforms.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in L3 Production Support, strong Java/SQL skills, and hands-on experience with Splunk, Git, ServiceNow, and AWS. Fluent English, and willingness to work US-friendly hours from Mexico.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of L3 Production Support experience.
• Advanced English required (C1/C2).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies; AWS certification is an advantage.

Seeking Experienced L3 Production Support Engineers for Exciting Remote Projects in Guadalajara and Mexico City

We are looking for skilled L3 Production Support Engineers with a minimum of 3 years of relevant L3 Production Support experience to join a dynamic team within a leading global organization. This role involves providing advanced production support, resolving complex L3 issues, implementing code fixes, performing root cause analysis, and contributing to the continuous improvement of Java-based applications and enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L3 production support and resolve complex production issues through detailed analysis.

• Troubleshoot incidents, implement code fixes, and perform rigorous testing.

• Support Java applications and production servers running on cutting-edge platforms.

• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.

• Collaborate with development teams to improve application stability and performance.

• Develop new functionalities that support evolving business requirements.

• Automate provisioning and access management processes.

• Participate in requirements gathering, design discussions, and implementation alongside cross-functional teams.

• Contribute to continuous improvement and continuous delivery initiatives.

Technical Skills Required:

With 3+ years of experience as an L3 Production Support Engineer, you should be proficient in the following technologies:

• Strong hands‑on experience with Core Java

• Experience working on Java technology stack projects

• Strong knowledge of SQL

• Experience with Splunk for debugging and log analysis

• Experience with Git

• Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow and workflow processes

• Experience with AWS (preferred)

• Experience performing L3 Production Support

• Ability to successfully complete a CoderPad coding assessment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher.

• 6-9 years of overall software development experience.

• Fluent in English (Advanced - C1/C2).

• Strong communication, leadership, teamwork, empathy, and commitment.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies is a plus.

• AWS Certification is an advantage.

Location & Schedule:

• Remote position.

• Preferred candidates located in Guadalajara or Mexico City

• Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 18:00.

• Advanced English skills are mandatory.

• Only candidates currently residing in Mexico will be considered.
