Job summary

Salesforce in Mexico City is hiring a Software Engineer — Automation & Reliability Junior (AMTS) to help build the next generation of AI-powered engineering. You will join our AI-native Academy as an early-career engineer, work under a senior mentor, and gain experience in production support, automation, and reliability.

You will write, test, review and deploy code, investigate cases, and participate in rotations.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• We welcome internships, coursework, personal projects or open-source contributions.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve support cases, production defects, access issues and integration failures.
• Build automation for recurring tasks such as access requests, case responses, log analysis, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Develop AI agents and workflows to classify cases, retrieve knowledge and execute actions with safeguards.
• Identify root causes and improve code, monitoring, tests and documentation to prevent incidents.
• Write, test, review and deploy maintainable software using established engineering practices.
• Participate in incident response and on-call rotations with mentorship and guidance.
