Job summary

Salesforce in Mexico City is hiring a Junior Software Engineer to join the AI-native Academy and build AI-powered automation while strengthening system reliability. You will work under a senior mentor, combining software development with production support and learning through practical ownership.

You’ll contribute to agentic automation, incident response, and code improvements while growing toward broader product and platform engineering roles within Salesforce’s AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Foundational programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript or Go.
• Understanding of data structures, APIs, testing, version control and debugging.
• Degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve support cases, production defects, access issues and integration failures.
• Build automation for recurring tasks such as access requests and log analysis.
• Develop AI agents and workflows to classify cases and retrieve knowledge.
• Write, test, review and deploy maintainable software using established engineering practices.
