Johnson Controls seeks a Sustaining Engineer to lead technical efforts on the shopfloor and support the full product lifecycle from launch to end-of-life. You will investigate issues, drive improvements, and implement changes for quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Collaborate with Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to deliver robust solutions. Must communicate effectively in English and operate in a fast-paced production environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in sustaining engineering, product engineering, or manufacturing support.
• Advanced English proficiency for global collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead sustaining engineering activities on the operations shopfloor.
• Investigate and resolve product, manufacturing, and production issues via root-cause analysis.
• Drive continuous product improvements for quality, reliability, and cost competitiveness.
• Identify cost reduction and value engineering opportunities without compromising performance.
• Provide technical leadership to manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations teams.
• Develop validation plans and verify improvements through data-driven assessment.
• Maintain engineering documentation and change history for traceability.
