Johnson Controls is seeking a Sustaining Engineer to provide technical leadership on the shop floor and support the full product lifecycle for HVAC and pressure vessel products, from launch to end-of-life.

You will investigate issues, drive continuous improvement, and perform root cause analyses while collaborating with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
• Experience with sustaining engineering and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead sustaining engineering activities on the shopfloor to support product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and lifecycle needs.
• Investigate and resolve product, manufacturing, and production issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Drive continuous product improvement initiatives focused on quality, reliability, manufacturability, and cost competitiveness.
• Identify, develop, and implement cost reduction and value engineering opportunities while maintaining requirements.
• Support production operations by providing technical leadership and engineering solutions across teams.
• Evaluate alternative materials, components, and suppliers to improve performance and supply continuity.
