Johnson Controls is seeking a Sustaining Engineer to provide technical leadership on the operations shopfloor and support the full product lifecycle from launch through end-of-life.

You will investigate product and manufacturing issues, drive continuous improvement, implement engineering changes, and contribute to quality, reliability, and cost competitiveness across cross-functional teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Advanced English proficiency for global cross-functional communication.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, manufacturing processes, and engineered products.
• Experience in sustaining, product, or manufacturing engineering or technical product support.

Responsabilidades

• Lead sustaining engineering activities on the operations shopfloor to support product performance and lifecycle needs.
• Investigate and resolve product and production issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Drive continuous product improvement focused on quality, reliability, and cost competitiveness.
• Develop cost reduction and value engineering opportunities while maintaining product performance and compliance.
• Provide technical leadership to manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations teams.
• Evaluate materials, components, and suppliers to improve performance and supply continuity.
• Generate and implement sustaining engineering changes to improve performance and cost efficiency.
• Support lifecycle management from launch to end-of-life, including proper assembly and ongoing support.
