Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Specialist I - SVS - AERO in Mexico to support installation, maintenance, and field operations for turbo machinery rotating equipment. This entry-level role emphasizes on-the-job training, safety, and collaboration with mentors on customer sites.

Ideal candidates will have a mechanical or electrical engineering background, strong English, and a willingness to travel up to 80% worldwide, including offshore assignments.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or 1–2 years in rotating equipment service/installation.
• Ability to understand and implement technical drawings (Mechanical drawings, P&ID, Instrumentation).
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent English fluency, both spoken and written (Will be evaluated).
• Willingness and availability to travel worldwide 80% of the time (on and offshore).
• Legally authorized to work in Mexico and eligible to work across the border, such as in Canada, Europe, and the USA.

Responsabilidades

• Learn and assist other crew members during Installation and/or Maintenance activities at Customer Sites.
• Execute maintenance/installation of Turbo machinery rotating equipment and assist other crew members in the assigned scope of work.
• Interact with mentor or direct supervisor and other specialists/supervisors in the group.
• Perform all responsibilities safely and per Baker Hughes processes and procedures.
• Conduct all business activities in accordance with HSE policies and legal requirements.
