Job summary

Landing is hiring an entry-level Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist based on-site in Mexico City. You will help ensure invoices and expenses are processed accurately, maintain orderly financial records, and support basic reporting to build early accounting experience.

You’ll work with the team using Ramp/PEX, gain hands-on exposure to NetSuite, and participate in month-end close with guidance from colleagues. This is a learning-forward role in a fast-paced company.

Responsibilities

• Process and review transactions in Ramp and PEX, including syncing card activity and AI-assisted coding for speed/accuracy
• Assist with day-to-day AP processing and provide supporting documentation for reconciliations
• Review vendor invoices, monitor AP inbox, and route questions to the right team
• Create fixed assets in the system from receipts/invoices and assist with basic asset reporting
• Collect vendor documentation (W-9, W-8BEN) and maintain records in NetSuite and Ramp
• Compare AP records to vendor statements and flag discrepancies for review

About the Role

We are looking for an entry‑level Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join Landing! In this role, you’ll help ensure invoices and expense transactions are processed accurately and on time, assist with maintaining organized financial records, and support basic reporting needs — a great opportunity to build hands‑on accounting experience early in your career.

What You’ll Do

• Process and review transactions in Ramp and PEX, including syncing corporate card activity and confirming expenses are coded correctly, using AI‑assisted coding suggestions and review tools to improve speed and accuracy
• Assist with day‑to‑day Accounts Payable processing and provide supporting documentation for reconciliations as needed, using AI tools to streamline repetitive tasks.
• Review vendor invoices, monitor the Accounts Payable inbox, and route invoices or questions to the appropriate team members.
• Create fixed assets in the system using receipts and invoices, and assist with basic fixed asset reporting and record maintenance.
• Help collect and organize vendor documentation (W-9 and W-8BEN forms) and maintain accurate records in NetSuite and/or Ramp.
• Compare Accounts Payable records to vendor statements and flag discrepancies for review.

What You’ll Need

• English proficiency: Fluent B2
• Ability to work on‑site at our Polanco office, this is not a remote position.
• Experience with Ramp, PEX, or similar AP/expense platforms is a plus — not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• An understanding of AI concepts with an enthusiasm for using the tools daily to work smarter and more efficiently.
• Strong sense of urgency and a solid work ethic.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $16,500MXN gross per month
• Grocery vouchers: $1,500 MXN monthly
• Vacation: 12 days per year (available after 90 days of employment)
• Paid time off (PTO): 40 hours per year
