Acuity in Mexico is seeking a Materials Planner to analyze the Supply Plan and align it with orders and inventory to ensure material availability for production while balancing supply and demand.

The role focuses on optimizing inventory, preventing shortages or excess, and maintaining accurate planning data within Oracle and related systems, while supporting engineering changes and product introductions.

Formación

• Advanced English is required.
• Excel skills at least intermediate-advanced.
• Experience in supply chain.
• Experience analyzing data with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze the Supply Plan to determine material requirements.
• Maintain Kanban loops and use standard deviation.
• Create ISO/Internal Orders and monitor delivery.
• Follow up on materials on hold or quarantine.
• Monitor material availability to prevent shortages.
• Support Phase In/Phase Out processes and ECOs.
• Adjust planning due to product or engineering changes.

The Materials Planner is responsible for analyzing the Supply Plan and comparing it with current orders and inventory levels to determine material requirements that need to be requisitioned through Oracle. The position ensures material availability to meet production and customer requirements while maintaining an appropriate balance between supply and demand. The role is also responsible for optimizing inventory levels, preventing material shortages or excess inventory, and maintaining accurate planning and inventory information within the relevant systems.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Material Planning & Requirements

• Analyze the Supply Plan and determine material requirements.
• Analyze material consumption and current inventory levels..

MRP, Kanban & Inventory Management

• Maintain Kanban Loops using the standard deviation formula.

Orders & Material Follow-Up

• Create ISO / Internal Orders and monitor their delivery.
• Follow up on materials received that are on hold/quarantine.
• Monitor material availability and flow to prevent shortages.
• Manage Phase In / Phase Down / Phase Out processes resulting from engineering changes.
• Support Product Introductions, Product Transfers, and ECOs.
• Adjust material planning according to product or engineering changes.
