Placements24 is seeking an experienced Jefe de Obra Estructural to oversee major construction projects in Saltillo, Coahuila, MX. The role requires strong leadership, deep structural engineering knowledge, and proven project management on-site.

You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate with engineers and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence from foundation to completion. BIM experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in construction management with a strong focus on structural projects.
• Experience managing large-scale structural construction (e.g., high-rise buildings, industrial facilities).
• In-depth knowledge of concrete and steel structures, foundations, and building systems.
• Proficiency in construction scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera P6).
• Strong understanding of Mexican construction codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all on-site construction activities for structural components.
• Develop and implement detailed construction schedules and work plans.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, engineers, and site personnel.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and quality control procedures on site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be the primary point of contact for site operations, coordinating with engineering teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record in managing complex structural elements, such as reinforced concrete and steel structures, from foundation to completion. This is an on-site position, requiring full dedication to the project location. Your expertise will be critical in resolving technical challenges, managing risks, and driving project success.
