Job summary

EPAM Systems in Mexico is seeking a JavaScript Full-Stack Developer to build accessible, high-performance web applications and services on cloud infrastructure. You will implement end-to-end features using TypeScript, React, and JVM-based back ends, collaborating with multinational teams to deliver robust solutions.

The role emphasizes collaboration, testing, observability, and documentation, with opportunities to work across AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and data stores like DynamoDB and PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-stack web engineering experience with production systems.
• In-depth TypeScript and React with state management.
• Backend skills in Java or Kotlin on the JVM, or TypeScript for shared libs.
• Experience with gRPC, protobuf, HTTP/REST.
• Hands-on experience with DynamoDB and PostgreSQL; AWS/cloud CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Implement full-stack features that meet product needs, following established patterns and best practices.
• Build TypeScript and React components with accessible UI patterns and good client performance.
• Develop backend services and contribute to shared libraries using Java or Kotlin on the JVM, and TypeScript where appropriate.
• Work with service-to-service communication using gRPC/protobuf and integrate HTTP/REST APIs.
• Work with data in DynamoDB and PostgreSQL to support product features and reliability.
• Work within AWS environments, containers, and CI/CD pipelines to ship changes safely.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to protect quality and delivery speed.
• Participate in technical discussions and design reviews with your team.
• Contribute to observability and debuggability through structured logging and tracing practices.
• Document features, interfaces, and operational notes to support ongoing maintenance.
