Job summary

Athenaworks is seeking a mid‑senior Full‑Stack Engineer to join our team in shaping the digital world for top startups and scaleups. You will design and implement scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and responsive frontend components using React and TypeScript.

You'll own features end‑to‑end, collaborate across disciplines, and apply AI tools to boost testing, code quality, and CI/CD. Fluency in English is required; we value curiosity and ownership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development with full stack experience.
• Backend services with Java or Python.
• Relational databases and query optimization.
• React and TypeScript proficiency.
• Strong English communication and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with team to design features based on requirements.
• Own features from conception to deployment: DB schema, backend logic, API, frontend.
• Implement unit, integration, and functional tests across the full stack.
• Participate in code reviews for frontend and backend code.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the stack.
• Troubleshoot issues reported by users across the system.
• Use AI tools to boost efficiency, automate tasks, and optimize CI/CD.
