Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a skilled JavaScript Full-Stack Developer to contribute to production web systems. You will build accessible, performant UIs and reliable JVM- and TypeScript-based services on cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities include implementing full-stack features, building TypeScript/React components, developing backend services, and ensuring quality with tests in AWS environments and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-stack web engineering experience with production systems.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React, including state management.
• Good understanding of UI accessibility patterns and browser performance optimization.
• Backend skills in Java or Kotlin on the JVM, or TypeScript for shared libraries.
• Experience with gRPC + protobuf, HTTP, and REST.
• Hands-on experience working with DynamoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Practical cloud platform experience using AWS, containers, and CI/CD as a consumer.
• Solid testing habits across unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Good collaboration and communication skills within a team.
• Clear technical writing skills for feature documentation and operational notes.

Responsibilities

• Implement full-stack features that meet product needs and follow established patterns.
• Build TypeScript and React components with accessible UI patterns and good client performance.
• Develop backend services and libraries using Java or Kotlin on the JVM, and TypeScript where appropriate.
• Work with service-to-service communication using gRPC/protobuf and integrate HTTP/REST APIs.
• Work with DynamoDB and PostgreSQL to support product features and reliability.
• Operate in AWS environments, containers, and CI/CD pipelines to ship changes safely.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to protect quality.
• Participate in technical discussions and design reviews with your team.
• Contribute to observability and debuggability through structured logging and tracing.
